To help, wherever possible, those in need in our local community and beyond and,
at the same time, have fun and enjoy social activities.
SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY
During the past twelve months we have financed and helped:
All Souls Girl Guides, Scouts in Eastbourne, Eastbourne Lions Tacade Educational Project, Hailsham Explorers, Hailsham Trefoil Guild,
Krugersdorp (South Africa) Lions Club Teddy Project, LIBRA (Lions International Blood Research Appeal, Link, Lions International Sight First II,
Macmillan Cancer Care, Medicens San Frontier (Eye Glasses to the Third World), Relate, Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal,
Sussex Air Ambulance, Tenerife Lions Holiday Project, Voluntary Lifeguards. Warrior Youth Club.
Plus many other organisations and deserving individual appeals for help.
FUND RAISING
100% of the money raised from the following has been used to fund those we have helped:
Charity Golf Tournament - Christmas Town Centre and Street Collecting - Charity Fashion Show, Vintage Motor Cycle Rally -
Grand Summer Draw - Swimathon - Concerts - Easter Egg Hunt.
Plus a variety of smaller events.
