Fun Night at the District Convention at Hollingbourne, Kent.
The theme was 'The Garden of England Party'.
The Convention Treasurer's uses his fingers to count the cost of the evening, whilst the Convention Chairman and Treasurer's wife try to look concerned!
(The Treasurer and Chairman are both Members of the Eastbourne Lions Club.)

The Club's 40th Anniversary of the date of receiving its charter in 1968
was celebrated at the Hydro Hotel, Eastbourne with a Dinner/Dance.
Principal Guest was The Worshipful The Mayor of Eastbourne Councillor Mary Pooley
